CBE JU Stakeholder Forum 2026

In March 2026, our team participated in the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) Stakeholder Forum in Brussels, a key event bringing together industry, policymakers, and researchers working on bio-based innovation.

The forum highlighted the growing importance of the bioeconomy in Europe, particularly in reducing dependence on fossil resources and supporting sustainable industrial development. While significant progress has been made in areas such as bio-based chemicals, a clear gap remains in textile waste valorisation, reinforcing the relevance of our work.

For the TextileWaVE project, the event provided valuable insights into the challenges of scaling bio-based solutions from research to industrial application, as well as opportunities for collaboration and future funding.

We look forward to integrating these insights into our ongoing activities and contributing to the development of sustainable and circular solutions for the textile sector!
